Third Round #WPGWhiteout Street Party Will Require Tickets

The Winnipeg Jets are off to the third round of the National Hockey League’s Stanley Cup Playoffs. With an ultra fast turnaround, the Jets will host the Vegas Golden Knights at Bell MTS Place in games one and two on Saturday and Monday, respectively.

Third Round #WPGWhiteout Street Party Will Require Tickets

As per recent tradition, fans unable to secure tickets to the game will be invited to the local Winnipeg Whiteout street party in the neighbouring community surrounding the rink.

Much like the first and second round home dates, fans are encouraged to come out to the viewing parties on Donald and Graham dressed in whiteout gear. Food carts, Jets Gear shops, beer tents and many other vendors will be at the parties once again, ready to assist participants with every need.

The Winnipeg Whiteout street party has grown tremendously over the last two rounds of action, to a point in which the third round parties will only accept entrants upon presentation of a ticket at the entrances.

In order to provide entrance to the 25,000 people wanting to gather outdoors in support of the Winnipeg Jets, printed tickets are expected to help with security and maintaining a manageable, safe, secure and enjoyable party site.

With 22,000+ gathered on the streets, another 3,000+ at the Millennium Library Park and 16,345 inside Bell MTS Place, the third round will definitely see the biggest and undoubtedly the best Winnipeg Whiteout of all time.

Tickets are available to be printed off for free at Ticketmaster.ca – a maximum of eight tickets per transaction will be allowed. Bell MTS Place will also have street party tickets available at the box office for both games. If games five and seven are necessary, the same process will occur.

Once again, Winnipeg Harvest will look to add to the 31,000 pounds of donated food collected so far at the Winnipeg Jets/Manitoba Moose playoff games thus far. With donation bins setup at every arena entrance and scattered throughout the street party, the goal is to beat the incredible 17,500 pounds collected at game six of the second round.

Party gates will open two hours before puck drop for games one and two – 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, and 5:00 P.M. central on Monday.
