Seven items will be given away to Jets fans in attendance on October 9th (magnet schedule), October 14th (mini jerseys), October 24th (commemorative scarves), December 16th (player pennant), January 6th (hockey cards), January 15th (all-star poster) and March 12th (Nikolaj Ehlers bobblehead).
True North Sports and Entertainment will also continue with highlighting the service provided by the Canadian military with the Canadian Armed Forces Night on October 18th. Players on the Jets will wear military inspired jerseys in the warmup, before auctioning off those same sweaters following the game, with all funds going towards local military initiatives.
Hockey Fights Cancer night will be on November 29th, when the Jets host the Blackhawks. Similarly to Canadian Armed Forces Night, themed warmup-worn jerseys will be auctioned off following the game, with all proceeds going towards CancerCare Manitoba.
Mental Health Awareness Night will also be featured on January 31st, as Winnipeg will promote the True North Youth Foundation’s Project 11, and the important work of Hockey Talks.
Three new awareness-raising nights will occur in 2019, as the Jets will host This is Hockey: You Can Play game on February 12th, This is Hockey: WASAC Night (by Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre) on February 16th, and Go Green Night on March 14th.
The annual toy and food drives will continue in the 2018-19 season as the Jets will host those events on December 9th and February 2nd, respectively.
Fan Appreciation Night will be held on March 28th in Winnipeg’s penultimate home game of the regular season, when the Jets take on the New York Islanders.
