On Monday, the MJHL announced its weekly winner, and for the first time, the recipient was an import player from Scottsdale, AZ. Goaltender Riley Morgan – a 6-foot-2, 195-pound netminder from the Arizona Bobcats program – went 2-0-0, stopping 55 of 58 shots this past week for the the Flyers.
The 18-year-old former North American Prospects Hockey League backstop has been lights out in his first two months of MJHL action for the Flyers this year. Through 10 games of the 2018-19 season, Morgan holds a 6-3-1 record with a 2.99 goals against average and a .907 save percentage.

The Flyers currently sit just three points back of Portage for first place in the league, and see their next game action Friday evening, as Wayway completes the home-and-home, visiting the Morden Access Event Centre at the end of the week.
