Included in the list of the seven signings are four returnees (Alexis D’Aoust, Kristian Reichel, Cole Maier, Jimmy Oligny) and three newcomers to the 2019-20 Manitoba Moose squad (Bobby Lynch, Graeme Craig, Hayden Shaw). These players are on AHL-only, one-year deals and would require an updated contract if Manitoba’s parent team, the Winnipeg Jets, requires their services at some point throughout the 2019-20 season, for whatever reason.
D’Aoust, 23, put up 12 points in 42 games with the Moose in 2018-19, while also collecting 15 points in 11 East Coast Hockey League games with the Jacksonville Icemen. Reichel, 21, had 10 points in 55 AHL games last year. Maier, 24, put up one goal in just three games with Manitoba, on top of 32 points in 39 games in the ECAC. Oligny, 26, had 10 points in 32 games for the Moose, after skating in 16 games for the Chicago Wolves to begin the season.
Bobby Lynch, 21, spent the 2018-19 season in the United States Hockey League, putting together 53 points in 61 games for the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Craig, 26, spent the past four seasons dressing for the Alberta Golden Bears, winning three Canada West titles and winning the 2018 U Sports National Championship. Shaw, 23, collected 10 points in 37 games with the University of North Dakota, before dressing in nine games with the Jacksonville Icemen to finish his 2018-19 season.
