Featuring seven giveaways, four promoted causes, two mass collections, the annual armed forces night and Fan Appreciation Night, the upcoming schedule is jam-packed with fan friendly dates.
Seven different items will be given away to Jets fans in attendance throughout the season: October 10th (LED wands and season schedules), October 20th (commemorative scarves), December 3rd (mini jersey), January 12th (hockey cards), January 14th (all-star poster), February 11th (alumni banner) and March 17th (player bobblehead).
True North Sports and Entertainment will also continue with highlighting the service provided by the Canadian military with the Canadian Armed Forces Night on November 12th. Players on the Jets will wear military inspired jerseys in the warmup, before auctioning off those same sweaters following the game, with all funds going towards local military initiatives.
Hockey Fights Cancer night will be on November 23rd, when the Jets host the Blue Jackets. Similarly to Canadian Armed Forces Night, themed warmup-worn jerseys will be auctioned off following the game, with all proceeds going towards CancerCare Manitoba.
The Jets will also host their This is Hockey: You Can Play game on February 27th, the This is Hockey: WASAC Night (by Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre) on January 17th, and This is Hockey: Gender Equality Night on March 6th.
The annual toy and food drives will continue in the 2019-20 season as the Jets will host those events on December 15th and February 8th, respectively.
Fan Appreciation Night will be held on March 29th in Winnipeg’s final home game of the regular season, when the Jets take on the Vegas Golden Knights.
