After a 1-1 start on the road, Manitoba dropped its next four contests (all at home) before heading out to take on the Grand Rapids Griffins and Chicago Wolves on Friday and Saturday evenings, respectively, in the mid-west. On Friday, the Moose will take on a 3-2-1 Griffins squad, followed almost immediately by the 3-3-1 Wolves. Puck drop is set for 6:00 PM central Friday, while Saturday’s game will get underway by 7:00 PM. Both contests are available to watch on AHLTV.
In partnering with Siloam Misson, Manitoba has also continued its annual ‘Share the Warmth’ campaign in 2019, in which the Moose encourage fans to bring new or gently used adult winter clothing in support of Siloam Mission to the next Moose home game, Sunday, November 3. Fans donating clothing at the game will be entered into a draw to win a special Manitoba Moose package.
This clothing can be scarves, mitts, toques, jackets, sweaters, snow pants, boots etc. with which will go towards Manitoba’s less fortunate residents in a battle against the cold. Despite only having one more opportunity to bring gear to a game before the campaign ends on Sunday, November 3, fans can also donate their winter gear at Red River Co-op locations throughout the province leading up to the closing date.
