Despite the 2019-20 AAA hockey season coming to an early pandemic-related close, the yearly awards presentation went without a hitch – albeit held online after the announcement of the cancellation of the annual banquet. Despite not physically being present for the award show, all recipients and nominees will receive their plaques via mail.
Of the nominees from each of the six catchment areas, an overall winner was selected for the following awards: Top Defenceman, Top Forward, Top Goaltender, Hardest Working Player and Most Valuable Player. Three Provincial Midget AAA players were also presented with scholarship awards, while the AAA Impact Player of the Year and the AAA Council Coach of the Year recipients were also recognized.
