All 56 Winnipeg Jets games during the shortened 2020-21 regular season schedule will be available for viewers in the ‘Winnipeg Jets Region’ to watch live on television. 42 games will be presented on TSN, 12 games will be shown on Hockey Night in Canada, while two will be aired on Sportsnet.
The 12 HNIC contests will be Saturday evening matchups, while the two Sportsnet broadcasts will be aired as a part of the Wednesday Night Hockey broadcast. The 42 games on TSN will include 19 games from Winnipeg’s Bell MTS Place and 23 games from road cities across Canada’s newly-formed North Division.
“Jets on TSN games are available to TSN and TSN Direct subscribers on TSN3, TSN.ca, and the TSN app in the Jets’ designated broadcast region as defined by the NHL,” a Jets release stated. “This region includes Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and parts of Northwestern Ontario including Kenora, Dryden, and Thunder Bay.”
For TSN broadcasts, veteran Manitoban play-caller Dennis Beyak will once again return to lead the charge, while receiving colour commentary from Kevin Sawyer and rink-side reports from Sara Orlesky. All 56 games of the Jets schedule will also be carried on Manitoba’s CJOB 680 AM radio and simulcast on the FM POWER 97. Paul Edmonds will return to the helm alongside Jets TV’s Jamie Thomas for coverage during the 2020-21 season.
