This past week, Manitoba’s newest Western Hockey League club, the Winnipeg ICE, announced its plan to bring fans back into the seats at the Wayne Fleming Arena at the University of Manitoba campus for home dates in the 2021-22 WHL season.
The ICE will suit up 34 times in Winnipeg this year, taking on opponents from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Winnipeg’s 2021-22 68-game regular season opens on Friday, October 1st from Brandon as the ICE battle provincial rival Brandon Wheat Kings at Westoba Place. The two teams travel back to Winnipeg for the second game of a home-and-home the following day, where the ICE will host their home-opener on Saturday evening.
The Winnipeg ICE also now have season ticket packages available for purchase. Information surrounding various packages can be found here. Early bird pricing runs until September 17, with season ticket packages available at seven different age/price points.
