The Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League is gearing up for its 2022-23 preseason, set to begin in early September. In advance of exhibition play, each of its 10 member teams will open training camp in very late August.
With a new season comes new opportunity. Despite most teams already hosting a full staff, a number of clubs are in need of training/equipment staff as well as one team looking to fill its coaching staff for the year to come.
The Fort Garry/Fort Rouge Twins are accepting applications for the positions of head coach, assistant coach, or the possibility of a full coaching staff for the 2022/23 season.
To apply for this opportunity, the Twins are asking all interested parties to forward contact information and coaching resume/history via email to jamie@fgtwins.ca. Questions are to be directed to general manager Jamie Heaphy at 204-619-4017.
Applications are being accepted until Sunday, July 10, 2022.
The Twins would like to thank all those who express interest in this position. But only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
MMJHL camps open league-wide in the first week of September. The preseason will begin shortly thereafter, while regular season games typically get underway in the second week of October.
