The Manitoba Junior Hockey League and Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League have unveiled the rosters of the six total teams competing at the upcoming 2023 MJHL/SJHL Showcase this January 31-February 1 at Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg.
This year’s edition will be the first in Manitoba and first since 2020 in Regina, after both the 2021 and 2022 showcases were canceled due to the seemingly never-ending global pandemic.
Each of the MJHL and the SJHL will bring along three teams, with two total 18-U teams attending and four 20-U rosters set to compete.
The event will give all participating players extended exposure from scouts representing the NHL, WHL, AHL, NCAA and U-Sports, providing extra eyes on each player as the 2022-23 season has moved into its second half.
Tickets for the event will be available to the public from Tuesday, January 17 and on. Walk-up tickets will also be available beginning at 11:00 AM on January 31 at Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg.
In all, there will be 35 Manitobans featured between the six teams, while 33 players hail from Saskatchewan.
